Month 10 - Month 11

Baby News:

She can walk with the walker toy
She took one step two different times, but hasn't taken more than that without assistance yet.
She learned to use the sign for "milk" to ask for what she wants
She gives high fives
She still loves all food
She loves opening and closing doors
She likes saying Disssssss
She has the B sound now
She likes tapping her mouth to hear her voice change and smacking her face off your shoulder to do the same thing
She loves giving kisses
She lays on the ground and pushes herself backwards when she's mad
She understands No
She loves throiwing things into containers
She likes unravelling the toilet paper and going into the bathroom
She likes climbing all over us when we sit on the floor with her
She likes crawling under and through things
She's still taking 2 naps
She's wearing size 5 diapers
She's wearing size 18-24 month clothes

Month 9 - Month 10

I forgot to do this until a month later, so I'm having to go based on memory...

Baby News:

She can pull up to her knees and to her feet
She can wave
She does raspberries on command
She started giving kisses
She's started throwing things on purpose. She likes throwing balls into the Dino toy.
She responds to praise.
She really responds to Perry. They feed off each other. Positively and negatively.
We moved her up to size 5 diapers.
She's back to liking pouches
She likes all food. I don't think we've given her anything she doesn't like yet.
She loves crawling under things.
She hates being held or in the stroller and she always wants to be down crawling around.
She likes her stuffed bunny, but hasn't really formed an attachment to any one thing yet.
She's wearing 18-24 month clothes

Month 8 - Month 9

Baby News:

She's crawling! It took her forever it seems to go from getting up on all fours, to rocking back and forth, to going one crawl forward, to actually crawling. Like the entire month. But she is actually crawling now.
With the crawling came getting to a sitting position on her own from laying down.
She tries to pull up on things now, but can really only get to one knee. She hasn't got to her feet yet.
She can clap on command.
She's working on waving and doing raspberries on command.
She started babbling a ton. She's added D, N, S, and occasionally M sounds to the G she already had.
She can sign more and milk when asked.
She loves her flashcards and the dancing robot
She also loves puzzles, especially the Fisher Price puzzle.
She likes opening and closing the bedroom door
She has 2 teeth and is working on the top 2.
She's dropping things on purpose and looking for where they went
She does really well with a straw cup now.
She understands 'NO' and will pout or cry when you tell her no.
She is wearing mostly 12-18 months clothes
She is wearing size 4 diapers
She is taking 2 naps a day with one of them being at least an hour long
She is sleeping for 11-13 hours at night.
She weighs 26 pounds 1 ounce and is 29 and 1/4 inches long. (I think they added an inch or two accidentally to that length)

Month 7 - Month 8

Baby News:

She can now roll both ways. She likes to just roll around on the floor a lot.
She got pincer grip down and loves eating food that she can pick up with her fingers.
She's still babbling, but not many consonant sounds. She favors 'b', but we've heard some 'g' sounds occasionally.
She loves blowing raspberries still.
She will clap on command now.
She can stand with the help of a toy for a few minutes at a time.
She wants to crawl in the worst way, but hasn't figured out how to get up on all fours yet. She does "crawl" backwards a lot while she's trying to figure out how to move forward.
She plays peek a boo if you giver her a blanket or something to hide her face with. She loves playing.
She has got the signs for more and milk almost down. She doesn't do them on her own yet, but will mimic you doing them if you do them first.
She's eaten lots of food and is pretty good at eating. She's not a huge fan of pouches and generally prefers things she can pick up with her pincer grip.
She tries to pull up on things, but hasn't quite got it yet.
She takes 2-3 naps a day, depending on how long they are and what time she wakes up.
She's wearing size 4 diapers.
She's mostly into size 12 month clothes and will fit into some 18 month stuff.
She got her bottom two teeth.
She's generally very happy and thinks everything is funny.
She sleeps anywhere from 11-13 hours at night.
She eats every 2-3 hours for about 5 minutes.

Month 6 - Month 7

Baby News:

She loves blowing raspberries and making the "B" sound
She rolled all the way over from back to tummy once, she gets most of the way a lot, but doesn't ever make it
She's really good at reaching for what she wants
She loves eating food and her favorite is yogurt mixed with fruit right now. She gets so excited and reaches for the pouch when she sees it
She loves slobbering all over you and giving "Reesey kisses"
She started putting her feet in her mouth when we're changing her diaper
We put her in the high chair when we go out and usually give her Mummums
She squeals a lot when she's happy and lets you know that she likes something
She is babbling a lot, but aside from 'B' there's still not many consonant sounds
She can support her weight on her legs, but she is not able to stand very well while holding onto something yet
She loves us singing to her and loves going to music class
She hates it when I leave the room (if she notices) and will cry until I come back in
She still thinks everything is funny
She likes playing with toys and her flashcards and the Lamaze toys are her favorites
She loves going for rides in the stroller
She takes 3 naps a day (occasionally 2)
She's sleeping about 11 hours, wakes up to eat, and then goes back down for one more sleep cycle
She's just starting to grow out of 9 month clothes
We just started her in size 4 diapers
She's eating every 2-3 hours for about 5 minutes

Month 5 - Month 6

I can't believe she is 6 months old already. It doesn't feel like half a year.

Baby news:

She sits up all by herself
She's close to rolling back to tummy. She leans way far over, but hasn't actually rolled that way yet.
She can stand up with help for a few minutes before her legs get tired
She grabs and reaches for things that she wants
She loves playing pat a cake
She gets so excited when you pick her up from sleeping and leans into your face and grabs at you
She got to ride in the big girl buggy at Target
She is starting to like to play with toys. She likes the rings and the flash cards the most.
She thinks tons of things are funny and laughs when you tickle her or bite her tummy
She loves jumping in the jumper
She likes sitting in the high chair playing with her seahorse rattle
She tried food for the first time. So far, bananas, avocado, toast and sweet potatoes. She loved the avocado.
She's making new sounds with her mouth. Clicking noises and such. She has said some consonant sounds occasionally, but not very often. Pretty sure I've heard "g" and "d".
She's taking 3 naps a day...first one is usually around 45 minutes, then 1-1.5 hours and then 35 minutes. She sleeps in her crib for all of them now. She's awake for about 2 hours in between them.
She sleeps around 12 hours, but usually wakes up to eat around 11 and then will go back down for one sleep cycle.
She's wearing size 9 month clothes
Size 3 diapers
She eats about every 2-3 hours for about 3-4 minutes
She is 27 inches and 23lbs 12 oz pounds

Month 4 - Month 5

Baby News:

She's sitting up really well on her own. She can go for a few minutes at a time before she topples over.
She just recently found her feet. She's been having them up in the air playing with them when we put her down on the floor.
She can now roll from tummy to back. She can do it pretty regularly when she wants to.
She likes being down on the floor or in the jumper.
She laughs at a lot of things.
She's very ticklish.
She loves putting things in her mouth. Everything goes in there.
She loves chewing on the blue shark teether. And banging things on the high chair tray to make noise.
She loves bouncing and being "bounced" into the air while you're holding her
She's taking 3- naps a day, depending on how long they each are. 4 short naps or 1 long one and 2 shorter ones.
She's hit or miss with sleeping in the crib for naps. Sometimes she will and sometimes she won't.
She generally sleeps for about 12 hours a night. Occasionally, waking up after 10 hours and eating and then going back down.
She's wearing some size 6 months clothes, but mostly is into 9 month stuff now.
She's still wearing size 3 diapers. No diapers seem to fit her correctly. They all leak at the legs.
She does much better in the car and only cries if we've been in there for more than a half hour or so.
She eats every 2-3 hours for about 5-10 minutes.
